Get Lucky 7K Minneapolis: The start is on South 2nd Street near Portland Avenue South. Here are some recommendations for parking your car, bike or taking the Light Rail. Click here or on the map below to print a pdf of recommended parking.
Parking: 
We have two options to prepay for reserved parking for the Get Lucky 7K in Minneapolis. Standard Parking has arranged two ramps for participants to get parking at a reduced rate: the Hennepin Ramp (closer to the race start on Hennepin between 3rd Street S. and Washington Ave.) and the South Sixth Ramp (closer to the post-race party on 6th Street S. between Nicollet and Hennepin). Parking is less than $7.00 and you are guaranteed your spot when you prepay online.Click here to prepay for your race day parking.
The Depot Ramp will be open and available to you on race day. This will be the closest ramp available.
City of Minneapolis ramps will also be open and available. Rates are expected at $5-8. The following ramps and uncovered lot will be available on race day. The City Parking website will help you find these locations.
- Mill Quarter Ramp is located at 711 2nd St South
- Riverfront Parking Ramp is located at 212 9th Ave South
- Jerry Haaf Memorial Ramp is located at 424 4th Street South
All of these lots and ramps are conveniently located within walking distance of The Depot and will be open. They will fill on a first-come, first-serve basis so be sure to get there early for the best parking.
There is onstreet-metered parking, but they may require a fee. Check for signs on this. Team Ortho Foundation is not responsible for any parking tickets incurred by participants or volunteers during this event.
Light Rail Transit
You can easily take Light Rail Transit as well to get to the 7K. Use the stop at the Government Plaza Station at 3rd Avenue South and 5th Street or the Downtown East/Metrodome Station.
Bike Parking
The City of Minneapolis has many bike lanes for cyclists, we encourage you to ride your bike to the race. Click here for more information on locations to safely park your bike on race day in Downtown Minneapolis.
Half Marathon Parking in St. Paul
- Park close to the start/finish at the Ford Plant Lot. Online prepay price is $6.60. If there is available space on race day the fee will be $7. Click here to pre-purchase your parking space.

*The Ford Lot will NOT be available for runner drop-off. If you drive into the Ford Lot you will be charged $7 for parking and not allowed to exit. Runners can be dropped off at an approved location along Ford Parkway, where drivers can pull into an alcove to do a quick dropoff. Watch for signage and volunteers directing you to the dropoff area.

- Plaza Parking Ramp at Ford Parkway and Finn. Cost: $7 for 3 hours, $9 for 4 hours. Pay on race day.
- Free parking in neighborhood North of Ford Parkway. As a courtesy, please no parking in business lots along Ford Parkway, you could get ticketd and/or towed.
There are bus stops along Ford Parkway. Check out Metro Transit's website to see if a bus route will work for you.
